Boutike Art & Wellness

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay in Boutike Art & Wellness. Everything in the apartment was well thought out and it made our time in Ataco wonderful. The shower was literally the best we’ve experienced travelling in Central America, consistently hot water and great pressure. The bed was huge and comfortable and the view from the wrap around balcony was incredible. We were worried about being right on the street but it’s a very quiet town and the shops don’t get going until about 10am. There was music in the evenings but pretty standard for Latin America and it was over by 11 on the weekends.

Cons: We had expected the ability to cook in the kitchenette but there was just a microwave, coffee machine, kettle & toaster. The biggest thing for us was drinking water not being provided as there were actually fairly limited places to buy in Ataco, especially with no car.

Amazing apartment! ♡

Pros: Wow, this special little apartment is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed at! Perfectly located in the center of Ataco with huge windows and super beautiful and comfortable! We enjoyed every minute, thank you so much!

Pros: This is an eccentric place, but very comfortable and in a great location. It's lovely to sit out on the balcony, and there is also a hammock!

Pros: Excellent location, beautiful decoration. Bath tube was great. Communication was great as well.

Cons: It was a bit noisy during the night and didn't have aircon

Charming town, suite and location.

Pros: I absolutely loved this place! After two months of traveling through Nicaragua and El Salvador, Concepción de Ataco quickly became my favorite little mountain town along the Ruta de las Flores. The vibrant murals covering the walls turn every street into an open-air gallery, the charming churches add such a peaceful vibe, and the local people are incredibly warm and welcoming. Our hotel was a highlight—bright, beautiful, and so cozy, with an amazing shower that felt like pure luxury after weeks on the road.

Cons: The only downside was the abundance of stray dogs in town. There seem to be more here than anywhere else we’ve visited, and they bark constantly, day and night. Without air conditioning, we had to keep the doors open for airflow, which meant the nonstop barking kept us up more than we’d hoped. Still, the magic of Ataco far outweighed that one issue—it’s a truly special spot!

Pros: My stay was very good. It’s a really nice place, very central, with lots of restaurants and bars around.

Cons: I loved the location, the jacuzzi, and the bed was super comfortable.

A little gem in the the middle of town!

Pros: Communication prior to arrival was clear, concise and friendly. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town and the property itself is beautiful and spacious. Despite the lack of air-con, we were surprised how cool the property was and did not need to use the fans, despite it being close to 35 degrees outside. The shower water was hot and it had good pressure, the balcony is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. Could not recommend this place enough.

Cons: As others have pointed out, it's not the most sound proof property, however, it was not detrimental to our stay. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are likely to drown the surrounding sounds.

Pros: La tina y el agua caliente, la cama es confortable.

Cons: Alexa no estaba configurada, por lo que no podías controlar nada de lo mostraba el video, la fuente que aparece en las fotos no estaba funcionando, el lugar es muy céntrico a una cuadra de la plaza eso puede ser bueno pero no para el descanso la zona es muy ruidosa por los bares y restaurantes del alrededor. Por lo demás todo estuvo muy bien.

Fun, unique place!!

Pros: I LOVED this place! It had so much character, amazing views. You are right in the heart of Ataco and can people watch. The bed was big and comfy. The shower and hot tub and real hot water couldn’t be beat. I was so happy to stay here!

Cons: There were barking dogs as we were trying to sleep, but not different from other places.

Super consigliato!

Pros: Abbiamo passato due notti qui. È un punto strategico per visitare i paesi della Ruta de las flores il sito archeologico Tazumal a Ahuachapan, il vulcano Santa Ana, il Lago di Coateoeque. La comunicazione con Alicia era perfetta. L'alloggio si trova in centro di Ataco, quindi scendendo in strada ci sono tutti i negozietti di artigianato. A due passi ristoranti e diversi Cafe. L'appartamento è pulito, accogliente, letto enorme e comodo. Ci è piaciuto moltissimo. Super consigliato a tutti che cercano un appartamento autentico, con qualità prezzo perfetto.

Cons: Due cose che mancano secondo noi. Viaggiamo con la mokka per preparare il nostro caffè (la macchinetta con filtro per noi non è opzione), ma senza un piccolo piano cottura non ci siamo riusciti. E manca un armadio dove mettere i vestiti, c'è solamente una specie di mensola ai piedi del letto dove potevamo poggiare le nostre cose. Tutto questo però non toglie che l'appartamento davvero super carino.
