A little gem

Pros: Such a genuine little gem! Lots of character and chill vibes. Super simple, kind of like beach camping. Absolutely loved it! Food was incredible.

Cons: Dogs were a bit loud during the night but nothing too bad. It’s very simple living but if you’re okay with that the place is amazing.

Unpretentious, authentic, rustic paradise.

Pros: One word: unpretentious. The place is authentic, built with love and caters for people who visit places for the experience, for the people, for unexpected encounters. There is great beach breaks right in front, Ulisses and his family are wonderful and rent short boards and fun board for a good price. More like a homestay. Amazing. El Salvador at its best.

Cons: Their profile here says things such as safe deposit box and mosquito nets which are non existent.

A really special place. I will be back

Pros: This place is a hidden gem. It’s so cute, so rustic and beautiful. It’s a true surf shack and has the best vibes. Euli and Roxy have a really special hostel here. I’m so happy I came across this spot. It is directly on the beach you go to sleep with the sound of the waves right there. There are lots of cute dogs and cats and the food is incredible too. An amazing place, seems like everyone extends their stay there too.

Cons: Only thing is no mosquito nets! But it’s worth it to go. Just bring one or use repellent.

Hippie hostel, with great view!

Pros: I really loved the views from the balcony. Watching the Pacific every day from the video, was gorgeous. Also I love the tropical style of architecture of the hostel. Nearby some shops, restaurants to have a breakfast or dinner

Cons: The sand. Is everywhere. Would be great to leave a brush in the rooms tos clean everything from the black sand

Relaxed

Pros: Was there for a week and learned to surf. Great family, that runs the place. Peaceful place to relax, food is amazing. You hear the waves all the time.

Cons: The Hostel is right at the beach which means sand every where. But it's not a bad thing, just different. Dogs barked sometimes at night. But was not a big problem to me.

A real gem

Pros: Directly in front of the beach, really quite and peaceful, nice local staff

Pros: Roxy cooked some great food for us at a super cheap price, plenty of boards for rental and location is super

Slice of paradise away from Busy El Tunco

Pros: Amazing slice of paradise. No crowds. Just you and the waves. Great hosts and people who run it. May it remain a gem.

Beachfront Paradise

Pros: Gorgeous location being right on the beach and the nicest staff. I felt very much at home. A must go for El Salvador.
