Pros: What a gem, don’t hesitate to book. Louis is amazing, helping us so much with our stay. We adored his company. Make sure you have breakfast here, it’s beautiful so much care was taken into preparing this. Laundry service is available here. Wonderful Restaurant recommendations too!!!

Central accommodation with a fantastic owner

Pros: The property is fairly central and a short walk from the main square and cathedral. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The best thing about staying here was the super helpful owner Luis. He helped us with days out, telling us where to catch buses, other places to places to visit and checking that Santa Ana volcano was open to climb before we left early in the morning. Breakfast wasn't included but can be organised the night before and is cooked fresh each day. There is also free water to refill your bottle. At the end of our stay Luis drove us to our next location for the same price as an Uber. Possibly the best host I have ever experienced in a place that I have stayed.

Great place, great host!

Pros: Like all have mentioned, Luis is great! Very helpful and kind. And has the best advices for your trip. I also really enjoy the inside terrace and everything is clean! Central located.

Cons: I think with 3 persons in the dorm it will be a little bit crowded... I was alone now.

SUPERB place within 5 minutes walk to Central

Pros: This place was amazing as we got on well with Luis and family. Treated us like family. LOVED being there Kitchen had everything Beer in fridge Communual area great

Cons: They need to get a few things done in bedroom and maybe a little paint in places BUT i would highly recommend this place as Luis and family go out of theor way to help or advice 10/10

Friendly host and quiet location close to city center

Pros: Super helpful and friendly host family. Execellent location close to the city center, but still quiet.

Highly recommend this lovely guest house, extremely close to the central square (Parque Libertad).

Pros: Lovely guest house in a great location. Very friendly and helpful manager. Free water from a water cooler included.

Cons: There was quite a lot of building work going on. AC is great but an additional $5/night (but definitely worth it).

Cons: Nothing. The place is simple and basic but to be expected for the good price so great value!

Lovely stay, excellent host

Pros: Excellent location, exceptionally friendly host, clean room, and hot water! Decent kitchen with everything needed to make your own stuff.

Cons: All rooms face the property's interior courtyard so you have to keep your curtains closed pretty much all the time, but no big deal. Extra charge for aircon.
