Cons: Location isn't the best. Far from el zonte and buses u til 5.30. If you have a car it's great otherwise need to think of it

Pros: Great place in just 50 m from the océan líne Nice view from balcon. The owner nice lady helped with laundry for free. Supermarket in 200 m Lot of cafes and restaurants around

Excellent room, excellent location, right on the beach

Pros: Excellent stay- the apartment was super clean, and smelled amazing. The bedding was clean and fresh, and the beds were comfortable. The host went above and beyond to be sure we were taken care of. They had a full shareable kitchen, refrigerator, and laundry. Our private room had the largest bathroom & shower of anywhere we stayed on our trip. It is above an excellent restaurant with great staff & prices. There are several dining options along the same road and it's within walking distance to a grocery store. We were very pleased and will definitely be back.

Pros: Very comfortable rooms in a fantastic location on the beach--literally one step and you're on the sand. It's got a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean, perfect for enjoying the sunset. There's a restaurant on site and several more next door. The highlight though is the owner. A very generous and soulful character with myriads of stories to tell. He went out of his way to accommodate me when I was having a bad day, and truly made my stay in La Libertad remarkable.

Almost a week in a paradise

Pros: Amazing place in the beach house with the beautiful ocean view and sound. Marie is a wonderful host, keeping this place super clean and making the guests feel like at home. Our room was very big, air conditioning working very quiet and good, bathroom spacious and tidy. The kitchen was shared, but as said, everything is clean, and you have hundreds of things for cooking (including oil, seasonings, sauces, etc.). La Libertad is a nice town, without hundreds of backpackers and tourist traps like El Zonte or El Tunco, so sometimes we felt like being on a private beach. El Faro Selectos store is 5 min walk, the local market in the city is 10 min walk away - you can't miss it, plenty of people there. Chickenbus stop 7 min away (direction San Salvador: 59 cents(!)) Plan your airport trip ahead. Uber works but drivers want to bargain in cash at night. We paid at 11 pm 30 usd to get to SAL airport (which is still fine).

Cons: Everything was great, we didn't want the vacation to be over. Definitely a place to return to.

Pros: Toooodoooo. La ubicación, la sensacional vista a la playa desde la habitación, el precio, el servicio de cocina y la atención de Mary.

Cons: De pronto, que toca subir muchas gradas, Pero eso es pasable ya que la increíble vista al mar lo amerita.

Homey, cute place on a rocky beach.

Pros: Great view of ocean from balcony. Right on beach. Fully equipped kitchen. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Good hot water. Short walk to the Malecón, a more lively area where there are restaurants, shops, and a long walkway out into the ocean. Large water jug for refilling water bottles. Yay, for reducing plastic waste!

Cons: The street has lots of restaurants but everything seems empty, maybe it was off season. Kind of ghost towny. They use really strong smelling detergent which irritated my nose.
