Hotel La Posada del Angel

A little haven in San Salvador! Support this gorgeous local B&B!

Pros: It felt like a little haven to come home to, somewhere quiet away from the city! The owners (Raquel and her father Jorge) are truly lovely and the staff are always happy to help with anything. I felt very safe staying here especially with the gated entrances. The garden was beautifully kept, consisting of tropical plants and flowers. The food was fresh and the staff made lunch and dinner if requested too. AC worked well, shower was hot, bed was comfy! I unfortunately got struck down with food poisoning on my last day, so we needed to check out later than expected so I could rest - they didn’t bat an eyelid when we asked and even provided me with some fresh watermelon/bread upon request. I sadly left a pair of my special earrings in my room too, and when Whatsapping Raquel, she confirmed her staff had found them and very honestly kept them safe so I could arrange shipping to the UK!

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like, bear in mind it’s a B&B so make sure you get water bottles for the room etc which you can buy there for $1, there isn’t a safe in the room either if you’re considering bringing valuables (not that I didn’t feel safe with my belongings there).

I intend to stay here on my next trip to El Salvador.

Pros: Small but perfectly formed hotel. Charming atmosphere. Very clean. Very Salvadorian. The staff were patient and hospitable.

Pros: I loved the small garden that can be enjoyed as you are having a cup of coffee. I saw two hummingbirds getting nectar from the flowers in the garden.

Cons: My experience was great. Nothing negative to say.

Un hospedaje perfecto para desconectarse y trabajar

Pros: La atención de todo el personal fue excelente, así como la posada que mantenía una calidez de familia.

Cons: El wifi falló un par de días, pero fue un tema del operador, es entendible. Siempre se motraron muy atentos a resolver el tema.

Sencillo alojamiento muy bien ubicado en El Escalón, cercano al WTC.

Pros: Cercanía a la zona de Plaza Futura y muy tranquilo. Es un lugar muy discreto y cómodo. Desayuno básico pero muy rico.

Pros: Everyone was extremely nice and the property is lovely. The garden is a wonderful bonus. It felt like we were staying with family.

Cons: There was nothing not to like

Pros: El personal fue muy amable y respondió a todas nuestras consultas. El ambiente hogareño y la decoración del hotel muy cálida y acogedora. El desayuno mundial, los frijoles más ricos que he probado. Un excelente lugar.

Un lugar muy tranquilo, cómodo,limpio y buena relación calidad-precio

Pros: Me gustó la amabilidad de los empleados. Escogí la habitación #6 y me pareció muy confortable. Lo más importante es que tenía black out en las ventanas. Me gustó la rapidez con la que salía el agua caliente. Me gustó la calidez que me dio la bienvenida la dueña del Hotel

Cons: Todo me parece excelente

Pros: Fuimos por un tratamiento para mi padre y esta cerca del centro médico, la ubicación es excelente esta todo cerca, el hotel acogedor con un jardín muy bonito y el ambiente tranquilo, el personal muy amable, estoy muy agradecida

Pros: Cómodo y acogedor, personal muy atento y amable, ubicación cercana a restaurantes, bancos y otros negocios, además de ser una zona tranquila y sin ruidos. Excelente opción para volver.
