Nice stay.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean pool. Outdoor shower. Festival and live band.

Cons: We got bitten by bedbugs, but i guess that can happen when travelling. They changed our room straight away and fumigated the room.

Pros: Lovely property and bungalows.. nice swimming pool and most of all amazing host.. it felt like family .. we really loved the place!! And kids had a ball!!

Pros: Close to the beach, loved the mango tree on the land that provided everyday, the people and vibe was cool

Cons: Our bungalow was really poorly designed and equipped The shared kitchen was always suuuuper messy

A lovely sociable place to stay.

Pros: The staff. So hospitable. Really lovely. The pool is brilliant and essential. The location is perfect not far from the beach.

Cons: The room was incredibly hot.

Pros: I really enjoyed staying here in this beautiful house. I extended my stay for 10 days, because I loved the athmosphere, the staff were very nice and helpfull and made me feel home. There were different events such as taco night and festival for the guests and locals, which was very nice. The garden is beautiful with mango trees. I can really recommend this chill and very nice place. Thanks for all the good moments

Pros: Jill and Julio are such great people, made us feel so welcome, and were super helpful and gave us a ride when we left. Big shoutout to the volunteers Lucy, Ado and Bruno as well! Beautiful pool and garden, and it was lovely with the shared meals we all enjoyed! Will be back!

Cons: Dorms were a bit loud and lacked mosquitonet for the beds. however we stayed the last few nights in a cabana, and that was really lovely! all in all very happy

Like having a home away from home.

Pros: Really friendly staff who give you space to relax and feel comfortable. Taco nights are a great experience to meet the locals and eat some tasty food. Mosquito nets on beds to sleep easy.

Pros: Julio, the host, is really kind and will always try to help you if he can (the staff is super helpful too), he'll share his knowledge and might take you for a tour in the backcountry if you're lucky. Oh and, if you catch the staff cooking, they might just offer you a seat and a plate to share their food. Overall, while El Zonte can seem a bit disconnected from El Salvador at times, you will leave the true Salvadoreño hosting at Casa de Colores.

Excellent weekend at Casa de Colores

Pros: Full equipped kitchen that you can use to prepare your own food and the use of all the amenities like the pool until 10 PM. The staff was really kind and delivered an excellent experience.

Cons: They don't accept credit card to pay for the room. However, there's an ATM a couple of blocks away where you can withdraw some cash.

Pros: The vibes of this place are immaculate. The staff is very friendly. The pool just tops it off
