Pros: Great price/quality. Nice and clean room with everything you need and a patio with a hammock where you can relax looking at the palm trees and mango trees and hear the tropical birds singing. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. You will feel at home. If I come back to El Tunco I will definitely stay here again.

Pros: We stayed for one night in El Tunco to break up our journey to Nicaragua. Hostal Camila’s is located just by the entrance to “Surf City” so is max. 5 minute walk from everything in town & the beach. The room was small but clean with modern bathroom and a fantastic A/C unit which was a necessity! Host was friendly and we wish we could have stayed longer in El Tunco and at Camila’s.

Pros: The owner and family are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite new, modern and very clean. In our room we had a refrigerator and air conditioning. The place is located very well. They also have a shared kitchen.

Pros: Great rooms, strong aircon, super clean and location was perfect! The owners were so lovely and even did our laundry for us. Highly recommend

Pros: One of our favourite stays, really clean and amazing to have a fridge in the room as well as clean cooking facilities. Staff were friendly and it was great value for money.

Cons: Only annoying this was our bathroom door didn’t shut properly

Worked great for a party of 3 for a quick stop over as part of our ongoing journey

Pros: Staff were friendly and greeted us on arrival and room was spacious and comfortable. We were only there for a quick one night stop so we didn’t use the room that much - but it was in a great location to walk down to the beach and the restaurants, shops etc.
