Chilamar Surf Lodge

Pros: Lovely & helpful staff and owner! Room was great with sea views, nice areas to chill in & gateway down to the beach promenade.

Chilamar Surf Ludge the BEST place to stay in La Libertad

Pros: Such a WONDERFUL place for solo travelers, families, couples, and basically everyone! The owner is the nicest sweetest most generous person there is, very attentive and helps with anything the guests might need, the place is hugh with a magnificant view to the beach, there is a big pool, Wi-Fi, kitchen, the rooms and hotel are VERY clean, there is area for working out and exercising and there are also games like darts and ping pong. The hotel is located right on the boardwalk and the beach where there are restaurants, amusement park, bars and everything one might need to have a wonderful stay. Come here, you wont regret it!! This place worth every dollar!!

Pros: Wonderful location. Comfortable bedroom and ensuite. So much shared space with hammocks, tables, chairs, terraces and a kitchen. A lovely pool with sunny and shady areas, chairs and loungers to pick from. Direct access to the boardwalk and the beach. Amazing sunrises from the terrace. The owner is so kind, helpful and accommodating.

Had a relaxing time on our first day in El Salvador

Pros: 1. We took uber from the airport to the lodge for $24 and it was convenient 2. Location of the lodge is good within a few stairs you are on the coastal walkway. There are a lot of restaurants and the supermarket is around 10 min walk 3. Love the art decorations and spaces to hang out and sunrise is beautiful which is right from the terrace 4. We had a room with Seaview and bathroom inside. Only fan but there are 3 of them and 2 windows so very comfortable in Dec weather 5. Pool is nice for relaxing and deep enough for swimming 6. There is even a fridge in our room. We only stayed one night so not sure if you can use kitchen 7. hosts are very friendly and we got to have a small chat 8. Free soap and shampoo packets

Cons: Nothing really but I still don’t get used to cold shower even though weather was hot. If you come from the main road, there is no lodge sign but a symbol on the wall( see my picture) If there is a game across the street it might be a bit noisy

Great stay, relaxing, and nice staff

Pros: Peaceful, close to the city, great view of the ocean.

Cons: Nothing really but they are in the middle of adding rooms a small crew was onsite working.

Great place, great host, clean and comfy.

Pros: Loved the location and our hostess/thenowner was real friendly and helpful. Ac cold, bathroom clean, pool was refreshing.

Cons: Would have loved it more at $40/night.

Pros: Regina is the best! It was so wonderful staying with them, everything was clean and relaxing. Location is good, 5 minute walk from la Libertad

Pros: Había bastante privacidad y espacio para pasar entre amigos disfrutando, está en crecimiento el lugar pero lo están haciendo bien

Cons: Un poco dificultad para acceder a la playa pero se ve que lo van a tener dentro de poco
