Pros: Wonderful stay at Bosko Our stay at Bosko was excellent. The property is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a very relaxing place to stay. The breathtaking views truly make the experience special, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh and delicious options, and the dinner was equally impressive, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We also appreciated the great hot shower and the very convenient 1 pm checkout, which gave us plenty of time to shower and relax after our volcano hike. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, ensuring that every detail of our stay was enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful stay at former Finca house with splendid view over Lago Coatepeque.

Pros: A former Finca turned into a little hotel with the charms of the original coffee plantation and modern amenities. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable . Breakfast and dinner is served in a small restaurant overlooking Lago Coatepeque. Though not on their menu they made a delicious vegetarian pasta dish for us with fresh ingredients. Breakfast options were stunning and the coffee sooo delicious. Will definitely come back when staying at Cerro Verde.

Perfect starting point for an early volcano climb

Pros: Perfect hotel near the start of the trail to climb the volcano, around a 7-minute drive. Very kind staff. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. The room is very spacious, and both the room and bathroom are very clean.

Cons: The room is very dark. The whole room is painted in dark brown. I would recommend painting the walls white.

Pros: Great location for the National Park and lovely views

Cons: Could do with some hooks or hangers for the towels. A side light would be nice (by the bed)
