El Zonte is a great beach and Amalfi Surf Lodge is great value, close to the beach yet quiet.

Pros: Amalfi Lodge is brand new (weeks old), and the staff are eager to help and make a good impression. The owners were very helpfull and they and the staff were very attentive. There is a small fridge where you can save drinks, and the fruit and vegetable trucks come by regularly if you want anything to eat in your room. This is not on the beach, but is a short walk past restaurants and shops so we never felt like we were too far away. The beach is very hot so we found ourselves going down for lunch and dinner, going for a walk and swim a couple of times a day and then coming back to the lodge to lounge by the pool and relax. They have lots of locations to lounge, cool down and relax (not 12 pools, but the one they show in the image is lovely).

Cons: Nothing, this is a bit out of the way, but that also means that it is quiet and away from the hubub of rhe beach. Having said that, the beach is beautiful, we went to El Tunco and Sans Blas and we preferred El Zonte. It is a bit smaller but there is more to explore and the restaurants are mainly right on the beach. Great relaxed vibe.

Agradable.

Pros: La ubicación está buena, cerca de la playa. El hotel rodeado de naturaleza, muy tranquilo.

Cons: Estaría bien si tuvieran café, ya que para desayunar hay que salir del hotel.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft um richtig zu entspannen.

Pros: Der Besitzer war ausgesprochen freundlich, verlängern war kein Problem, er hatte uns auch mit seinem Jeep zur Wäscherei 3 Orte weiter gefahren. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön und wird sehr gepflegt. Perfekt um auch mal einen ruhigen Moment direkt an der Unterkunft zu haben. Die Zimmer sind zwar Basic aber man hat viel Platz und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das WLAN ist sehr gut. Wir haben auch direkt nochmal um eine Nacht verlängert. Wir hatten sehr entspannte und schöne drei Tage dort.

Cons: Bei der Unterkunft direkt fällt uns nichts ein. Ein Schild an der Hauptstraße mit einem Wegweiser wäre gut. Der Eingang ist nicht wie bei Maps angegeben auf der West-, sondern auf der Ostseite. einfach bei der Cervezeria die Straße hoch und dann links.
