Ricks hostel Santa Ana

Three great days thanks to the location and staff

Pros: Great location, 3 minutes walking to the central square. Staff is amazing, they do more than necessary to facilitate your stay. They help with transport, activities, recommendations and everything. They also organise social events every night like dancing or cooking classes, which brings a nice social element to the stay. On top of that, it’s incredibly cheap for what you get. The owner, Koki, and Andrea, who does the activities are lovely people who make your stay worth the while!

The place to be with perfect vibes in Santa Ana.

Pros: Everything. This ist the place to be in Santa Anna. Good vibes for backpackers who want to discover the surroundings and make party as well. They offer tours, motorbikes to rent, perfect breakfast.

Cons: You have to learn how to open the doors. Bathroom could be renovated, but this is a problem in all hostels I have been to in El Salvador.

Amazing host, good facilities

Pros: Rick is amazing, the accomodation is everything you need, a pool table and well stocked kitchen. Can’t recommend enough!

Good choice in Santa ana

Pros: We have stayed at Ricks before so that speaks for itself. It is a real hostel catering for real travellers. It isn't trying to be trendy or a must stay place ,just real. The kitchen has all you need and the staff are always helpful and can answer any questions you have about bus stops and places to see,even the obscure ones that you throw at them. We will be back again.

Cons: Nothing to say that isn't good

The terrace was a wonderful place to both chill and socialise, and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating!

Pros: Great hostel, great location, great scooter rental.

Cons: There was a woman camped out on the couch directly outside my room who coughed all day and night. But this isn't the hostel's fault.

Great chill hostel that accepts bitcoin payments

Pros: Really nice, shady common area for relax and work If needed. I love the accept bitcoin payments

Great little hostel in the middle of Santa Anna.

Pros: Great location, friendly & helpful staff with lots of different travellers passing through. Bike rental at a decent price.

Busy and friendly travellers hostel in Santa Ana

Pros: Excellent budget hostel in the centre of Santa Ana attracts a friendly group of travellers, with helpful staff organising bike tours and information on local trips. Bar and pool table, evening trips to local night life. Mixture of small dorms and one big dorm.

Cons: Bathrooms and cold showers need an upgrade - promised in due course.

Good vibes

Pros: Location, few bathrooms, nice vibe, can rent motor bikes

Cons: Windows were always open so there were many mosquitoes no A/C Small kitchen
