La Casa de Mamapán Hotel Colonial Ahuachapan

Pros: Excellent location, right by the central park and next to a gorgeous church. Love hearing the bells ring. Very charming hotel, clean, basic room, firm mattress just as I like. Very friendly staff, loved meeting Cosmo their resident hotel greeter. Love the ambiance.

Cons: A couple more towels would be good. No got water in the shower.

Lovely colonial hotel with lots of character

Pros: We love this hotel. We travel regularly between Guatemala City and Tegucigalpa for work and love to stay here to break the journey. It’s a very central location, right on the square with food stalls at the weekends. We happily leave our car outside on the road as it feels very safe there. The beds are comfortable and the staff lovely and friendly.

Cons: Nothing, I can’t fault it.

Perfect stay on Ruta de Flores

Pros: The location was fantastic right next to the plaza. It was clean and the room was large and comfy. The time of check in got mixed up but they were accomodating. For some reason they thought we were checking in at 5:00 am rather than pm. So we were happy they hadn't rented it out. This is also a historic building so the history was interesting. Right behind the hotel is a walkway with little restaurants and we had pupusa's that were great and reasonably priced and enjoyed walking around. They also have parking available in a vacant lot nearby. Also staying here gave us a little more time to explore on the Ruta de Flores. I wasn't too sure about it, but all was well in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The breakfast was not that great. Usually, the typical breakfasts are really good in El Salvador but I think they order from somewhere else.

Pros: This was our second stay at the hotel and it was as lovely as we remembered it. The beds are comfortable with good air conditioning. It's a beautiful colonial building next to the church. The usual weekend food stalls next to the hotel, were boosted by Christmas celebrations, which was a lot of fun.

Pros: Great location, nice roof terrace, friendly staff, breakfast included.

Pros: the location is amazing - right on the main park. there’s a food festival every weekend there, so we could just wander out and get food there. it also feels very safe to walk around. The staff and locals were all really friendly. the building is really interesting with lots to explore.

Cons: I actually can’t think of anything.

Authentiek hotel maar prijzig voor wat je krijgt

Pros: Mooie grote kamer, authentiek gebouw, fijn dakterras waar het ontbijt gegeten kan worden. Erg behulpzaam personeel. We waren te laat voor het ontbijt. ( is tot 9.00) maar was geen probleem. Als nog ontbijt gekregen.

Cons: Beetje overpriced voor wat je krijgt.

Pros: El desayuno estaba muy bien, y en cuanto a ubicación al frente del parque y para movilizarse en los alrededores muy bien.

Cons: Todo bien.
