Paradise beachfront new boutique hotel

Pros: This hotel is only a few months old so everything is brand new. It’s a small boutique with 7 rooms and the most gorgeous beachfront pool spilling out on to a lovely stretch of beach. The pool area really is the ⭐️ of the show at this hotel. Given it’s new I thought there might be more ‘teething problems’ but there wasn’t. The rooms are spacious with really good AC that’s super quiet, the bathrooms and showers are brilliant and the restaurant serves delicious food and cocktails. I booked this place as a little treat to myself after a few months travelling through Central America and wasn’t disappointed. I had a wonderful three days relaxing by the pool and recharging my batteries.

Cons: The restaurant closes at 8pm so be mindful of that. I would have preferred if it stayed open till 9pm, even if it’s just for a few drinks, not food. The property is in Playa Cangrejera which is a lovely stretch of sand but it’s not on the main Libertad or Tunco part of town. That was a good thing for me as I wanted to relax and some peace and quiet but you do need a car or uber to get around from there as it’s remote and there’s not any restaurants etc to walk to.
