Pato Canales Hotel & Resort

Pros: Good location, spacious area and rooms, clean too, friendly staff and good breakfast.

Cons: Too expensive for what you get.

Ideal place to start your stay in El Salvador, very close to the airport.

Pros: The bungalows are large, new and very clean. The location near the airport is ideal if you need to pick up someone, or if you don't want to travel to San Salvador late at night. The swimming pool is great, with waterfalls and slides. Very quiet, few other people. Good air conditioning. Beautiful garden.

Cons: The restaurant is a bit old and should be renovated. Food is poor, with very limited vegetarian options. They charge you for a small bottle of water. They hold monkeys in the garden in awful cages. They should be set free.

A resort to enjoy

Pros: The surrounding is great. The staff very kind. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. I recommend staying there at least two nights so you can enjoy the resort.

Cons: I told the hotel I would arrive very late at night and they said that my room would be ready. The only problem was that they didn’t tell me that the gate would be closed. After trying to open it a guy showed up - thank God he didn’t shot me for opening the gate.

Pros: Close proximity to the airport. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean.

Green Paradise near the airport

Pros: In a very green park, the breakfast was amazing, very clean

If you are looking for a place that has unique look with great food and staff then this is it.

Pros: The resort was beautiful and located perfectly near the airport and major areas. The food was outstanding(try the quesadillas). Most importantly no matter which employee we spoke to they all helped and had a smile on their face. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend this hotel that as far as we could tell had no negatives.

Cons: Simple....we wish we could had spent more time at this hotel!

Comfortable and convenient

Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were great at finding transportation for Us to the airport 😊. The grounds were well kept and the room.was nice and clean. Food was also delicious.

Peaceful Atmosphere

Pros: We recently had the pleasure of staying at Pato Canales Hotel & Resort and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa was clean and very comfortable. The environment was pleasant and welcoming! The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Plenty of things for children to do from swimming in four pools to park toys to watching the monkeys. The resort’s location to the airport is exceptional. This will be our go-to choice for a couple of days before leaving ES. Highly recommended!

Cons: I wish complimentary breakfast was served earlier, especially for people with early flights as we had to buy breakfast at the airport.
