Comfortable and super relaxing

Pros: A very relaxed , comfortable property . Very quiet with 2 gorgeous Pools. A short walk to the beach and the town . We loved it

Beautiful property, great service, and quiet/private, while still being central

Pros: The complimentary breakfasts we had were OUTSTANDING! All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Although El Tunco is thought to be a very touristy area, the hotel was quiet and felt very private/removed from the higher traffic areas.

Cons: The lack of hot water was a pretty big bummer. We missed having a hot shower at the end of the day to wash sunscreen etc off.

Best place in El Tunco!!! Surf City

Pros: Excellent stay during 6/25-27 in the jazmin villa. Exceptional views of intercoastal and beach. Just far enough from hustle and bustle to not hear music late at night. Staff went far above expectations. Everybody friendly there. Would definitely stay again in same suite. Very clean place. Overall A+.

Cons: Drinks were a little weak at the bar. I stayed with the beer. I am picky though.

Pros: My wife and I fell in love with Bocas Olas Resort, we're hoping to plan another trip there ASAP! Special thanks to Solomon, Leo, Omar, Christian (and all of the other staff members, can't remember their names!). We were treated so kindly by everyone....waiters and waitresses, bartenders, housekeepers, groundskeepers, gate guards. Location was perfect, 2 to 3 minute walk into the heart of El Tunco where there are endless food options, bars, nightlife, yoga, massage, shopping, etc. Numerous surf options within walking distance and plenty of places to rent boards in El Tunco. I could go on and on, just go down there and see for yourself! Muchas Gracias Boca Olas, we'll be back soon!

I enjoyed my time at Boca Olas. The location could have been more centered to the beach.

Pros: I liked that Boca Olas attended us as soon as we got there. They held our luggage until the room was ready. I loved the service at the bar and at the restaurant on the resort. The staff were friendly.

Cons: The alcohol drinks were watered down. I kept paying for extra liquor and the drinks still were not strong enough. I also did not like that it was all the way to the side. It said it was ocean view but it was actually a little canal that connects the water from the ocean to a river. The water looked dark and dirty. It was not a pleasant view. However I did love the hammock on the balcony and the beautiful sunsets.
