Hotel Los Farallones

A unique and fabulous experience

Pros: Whats not to like? Its a piece of heaven: the location, the astonishing views, the variety of pools allows you to always experience privacy when you want. The proximity to El Tunco makes it easy if you want to explore nightlife etc. finally the friendliness of the staff, always willing to help.

Cons: Not sure I find the tab system so convenient but I think this is custom in El Salvador. The breakfast is served in one room although the hotel has gorgeous terraces throughout which would have made it an even better experience. There is no laundry service. That I find a minus for a hotel of this standing.

This resort exceeded our expectations in every way.

Pros: All the stuff were very accommodating. Very clean. Has a tropical feel with a beautiful garden and a magical view of the ocean . Would definitely recommend

Pros: The view, Pools, bar, staff, security we enjoy everything, we recommend this hotel , definitely come back

Cons: We don't like in the bathroom the dispenser of champoo and body wash they have to change it these sistems is bad

Maginifiques jardina et vues, par contre, la qualité des chambres est médiocres pour le prix payé.

Pros: Le site et les jardins sont très jolis. La vue est également magnifique.

Cons: La qualité des ameublements dans les chambres est médiocre. Pour le prix payé, on s’attend à une qualité supérieure des chambres.

Pros: El hotel 10 de 10. La playa 10 de 10 y la habitación 10 de 10

Cons: La comida del restaurante un 5 de 10. Los precios son muy elevados a la calidad y cantidad de servicio de comida. Mejora precios. Mejoras con el parking ya que a la llegada se encuentra un cartel donde dice que no se hacen responsables de objetos y daños al vehículo. Cuando el parking es parte del hotel.

Pros: Staff were very warm and welcoming. View was terrific.

Excelente lugar

Pros: Todo. Un lugar hermoso, con acceso a la playa. Jardines y albercas. Habitaciones grandes y cómodas.

Cons: El servicio en el restaurante es lento, pero eso parece ser una constante en todo El Salvador

Customer service above and beyond

Pros: Ok I booked through Booking.com and got the opposite of the ocean view I was expecting. Admittedly the site just said a room with a balcony, so my bad I guess. Anyway even though they were full the manager Horacio moved heaven and earth to somehow get us into an ocean view room for 2 of our 4 night stay, saving my marriage and did I say no extra charge? I loved being able to step out of my room in the am for a dip in the body temperature pool to start my day, and the same thing at night to finish my day, all to the sound of the roaring pacific ocean. I was working on a book so I want looking for a lot of action rest of the time. Did I mention the friendly staff? As the gardner Alexander aobut the medicinal plantsa of El Salvador.

Cons: Nothing really. I do hate rap music being piped in restaurants but it seems ubiquitious throughout Latin America. I must be getting old.

Amazing stay in paradise.

Pros: Great location, staff were super friendly and very helpful. Food was also very good and want to give a shout out to Wilmer for taking care of us.

It’s awesome nonetheless!

Pros: The views, the pools, the cleanliness of the entire facility was awesome. Alberto, Edgar and Edwin did great!

Cons: The way to get there is rough and parking spaces are small. The service for food is slow. Even the waiters get frustrated with wait times. It took one day at least 45 mins to get our food. The manager just stands there and directs the waiters to who needs help, instead of initiating a greeting with the guest and trying to get beverages before the food arrives would be at least the very minimum to do to help your employees who are working hard.
