Karma Muse Hotel

Great location and great value for money!

Pros: This place had varied reviews on multiple booking sites and I booked purely based on cost, but this was such a good hostel! Good kitchen, loads of fridge space. Sea views. Surf board storage area. Close to the beach and next to a bottle shop!

Cons: The showers were cold. The mattress in the private room was a bit too firm for my liking.

Pros: Great location, whether you're a surfer or not. The private room was clean and comfortable with a good AC.

Cons: Note that there's no warm water, but it wasn't a problem, honestly.

Pros: A gem of a hostel! Such a good vibe, a small hostel and super social, location is amazing and staff are great. Really good air conditioning, wifi and a well stocked kitchen. I wish I could have stayed longer! Highly recommend :)

Great vibes, location and people

Pros: Such a great vibe for a hostel, right on the beach and everyone here is super friendly and helpful ! A family environment and always something fun going on !

Cons: The hostel is still somewhat in the making but didn’t affect my stay at all :)

I loved it here

Pros: Air con and filtered water in all the dorms were a nice surprise, and you can’t beat the location!! The all around vibes were soooo friendly, definitely a social hostel. Really loud on the weekend, so it’s perfect if you want a night out!

Cons: The shower drains were really clogged (probably from all the sand) but it really wasn’t a big deal

Una agradable estancia

Pros: Me gustó la calidad y calidez de la atención del personal hacia sus huéspedes, son personas muy amables y dispuestos a brindarte ayuda en caso de necesitarla me gustó la ubicación del hotel, está muy cerca de la playa, de tiendas y para de buses.

Cons: Lo que sí me pareció un poco incómodo es el aseo de la Cocina, aclaró “el personal que trabaja ahí no tiene la culpa ni nada que ver con ese desaseo”que provocan los mismo huéspedes, los huéspedes debería de lavarlo los platos inmediatamente después de haberlos usado y procurar dejar la cocina limpia y ordenada. No me gustó ver amontonados los platos, me parece una falta de respeto para los demás huéspedes que necesitan hacer uso de la cocina encontrar sucia y desordenada.

Pros: Lugar fresco. Iris es amable al recibirte. Aceptan tarjeta y esta cerca de bares.

Perfect location, nice common area

Pros: Best location possible. Nice staff, great common area,hammocks,comfy beds and nice bathrooms, place for your surfboards, place to rent them just across the street.

Cons: Not that it bothered me too much, but if you got quiet hours of the hostel posted all over the place, then the party people probably could at least lower the music in common areas after 11-12pm. Once again, it’s a hostel, wear ear plugs if needed.

Pros: Super close to the beach, air-conditioned dorm room, wonderful fun people

Fantastic, affordable beach side hostel

Pros: Lovely location, Kemar and staff are very friendly and helpful, and a great common area on second floor with view of the waves! Fantastic place to stay in El Tunco, I planned on five days and ended up staying for three weeks.
