Sunzal Surf Garden - El Tunco

A fun, inclusive hostel near the beach with great vibes and excellent value for young travelers.

Pros: Sunset Garden has a great location, very close to the beach, with really positive and relaxed vibes. There are several cheap breakfast spots just a few dollars away, which is very convenient. The common areas are well organized, with nice tables, a fully equipped kitchen, and activities like ping pong, pool, and TV to enjoy together.

Cons: The atmosphere is very young and social, which is great for backpackers, but it might be less comfortable for adults looking for a quieter environment. It can feel a bit lively at times.

Absolutely worth staying if you are looking for a more quiet but great place at the beach.

Pros: Staff is super helpful and would organise shuttle services, give recommendations on trips and also have us leave our luggage in the rooms after checking out. the kitchen is well-equipped and always accessible, as well as free drinking water, some drinks to buy on-site and more. Really good value for money. Also, the space is very comfy with a swimming pool, many hammocks and common spaces to meet other travellers, play pool etc.

Cons: It's not their fault, but there are no stores close by so you either have to go to el Tünch or be lucky and catch one of the trucks selling from the back to get vegetables or fruit. Just bear that in mind when planning the trip.

A place with a great vibe, perfect for surfing, and totally safe.

Pros: I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great location, an amazing atmosphere, and either wants to meet people from all over the world or just spend some time alone. It's safe, comfortable, and everyone respects your privacy and what you’re looking for in a place. A spot with truly good vibes.

Pros: Really well organized hostel with super friendly stuff. They just opened and make sure everything is perfect for the travellers. Also the common areas are nice and there is a lot of space.

Un buen fin de semana en la playa

Pros: La habitación compartida tiene una excelente vista al mar durante el día es muy bonito ver esa parte. La piscina la utilicé el primer día de mi llegada y estuvo bastante relajante, siempre se mantiene limpia. Desde el hotel hay acceso a una de las playas pero no es el Tunco, para ir hacía esa playa se puede ir caminando por ese acceso hasta el Tunco, esto preferentemente de día, de noche no hay problema por regresar pero ya no hay mucha luz en el camino.

Cons: El baño casi siempre era un desastre, siempre mojado, claro también considerar que me tocó una temporada en la que estaba lleno, igual se veía que iban a hacer la limpieza una vez al día pero dada la cantidad de personas esto no era suficiente, en ese sentido considero que debería ser necesario poner información sobre mantener el baño lo mejor posible.

Pros: Tener la experiencia de hablar con personas extranjeras , convivir con ellos, podés llevar tu comida y bebida

Cons: No tienen menú de comida , y en la noche no hay muchas opciones de restaurantes

Pros: Super schöne Lage, nah am Strand und zu den Wellen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es gibt Vorhänge vor den Betten und die Klimaanlage funktioniert super! Es gibt Aktivitäten die man unternehmen kann, die Möglichkeit zu Kochen und Motorräder auszuleihen.

Pros: Tutto , la struttura più bella dove sia stata in Salvador. Pulitissima sempre, aria condizionata, spazi comuni curati. Cucina sempre pulita e grande. Ho trovato una famiglia, Patty e’ diventata la seconda mamma di tutti ! Qualsiasi problema e’ sempre pronta ad aiutarti. L’ostello ogni giorno diventa più bello, perché fatto con tanto amore e cura!
