RocaSol Casa d´Mar

Great place to relax.

Pros: You can see the ocean from your room and the grounds are beautiful, peaceful and well kept. Great options to lounge in a hammock, lounge chair by the pool or a table looking out over the ocean. Pool was nice and cool and very clean. If you want a place you can hang out all day and relax and enjoy beautiful views of the ocean this is your spot! We had the family room and it was spacious and very clean.

Cons: If you are hoping for a place you can sit with your beer and watch your kid play on the beach this isn't it. 😂 If you want to be close to the beach, this is not your ideal place. Depending on the tide you have to walk all the way around through town. When the tide is low you can walk easily to the beach down the stairs and across a short section of rocky beach.

Beautiful quiet location with a wonderful garden.

Pros: It's an amazing location with a beautifully landscaped garden that overlooks the entire beach. The staff is extremely motivated and fun to interact with.

Cons: Unfortunately, from time to time we noticed a strong smell in our room.

Beyond expectations

Pros: Stay was fantastic. Exactly what we needed for a relaxing vacation. Staff were incredible and super accommodating! Would 100% come back!

Quiet getaway overlooking the beach

Pros: Very beautiful location, private access to the beach, delicious food, very quiet, lots of shade during the hot days, room was very comfortable, friendly staff (a minimum of Spanish is required)

Great location and spectacular views!

Pros: The entire hotel is set up for relaxing. The ability to get a drink or order food there was a major plus. It was easy to get an Uber to some of the neighboring beach towns

Cons: This is only personal to me- I am disabled and the amount of stairs was difficult for me. However, they did have railings on all of them so that was helpful.

Pros: Roberto is a really nice host who makes you feeling confortable at RocaSol. He cooks very good pankakes and the spot is amazing, just in front of the waves! The room is clean and I felt home. Thank you :)

Unforgettable; we will return

Pros: The place gives an intimate feeling. It is an excellent value for the money. The breakfast is a typical Salvadoran breakfast with plenty of protein to carry you for the morning and it is included in the price. The owners employed locals which is a away to support the community. Thanks to Diana and Consuelo for preparing our delicious breakfasts. The view from the yard is priceless as you can see the ocean and hear the waves. the sunsets are stunning. So very peaceful and it is right in The El Zonte Beach.

Don't think twice about it

Pros: Everything. Location, property amenities, food, room, beds - I can go on. Everything was great. Stunning views of the ocean and sunsets.

Cons: No hot water but it's to be expected in the area. Not a big deal.
