A great place to stay for surfers.

Pros: Great location by the beach and lovely views from the terrace.

Pros: It is in a brilliant location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is delicious!

Pros: Lovely location. The balcony views were fabulous for sunset margaritas and watching the squirrels eat x

Cons: There was a lack of clothes hanging facilities however plenty of shelfs. The bathroom could do with a few hooks as well.

This really is the king of locations for a family surf holiday.

Pros: Amazing breakfasts for fuel us up for a day of surfing. Incredible location – could check the waves from bed. Welcoming and family friendly – the staff and atmosphere are just great. Couldn't do better for a family surf base.

Cons: Not a lot really. I can't think of anything we didn't love.

A beautiful location with great food

Pros: The food was excellent and the buffet offered more than enough variety and options. The location was beautiful and truly exceeded our expectations. Everything came together to make the stay very enjoyable.

Cons: The only issue we encountered was with the room pricing. We booked a room for two people through the booking platform, but upon arrival we were informed that the price was incorrect and had to pay an additional charge of about $15 per day for the second guest. While the extra cost wasn’t significant, the front desk mentioned this is a common issue when booking through Booking.com. I would recommend booking directly or through another channel to ensure the correct rate.

A relaxing, safe and fun place to stay in the heart of El Zonte.

Pros: This hotel is an absolute gem. It is in the perfect location to walk around town, and the restaurant and balconies have an incredible view of the river and beach. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and as women travelling on our own we felt really safe. The food at the restaurant is AMAZING, including the daily breakfast buffet. I would come back to this location again and again.

Pros: Lovely atmosphere & great location! Restaurant also offers great food & drink options (incl breakfast).

Cons: The bathroom could use a little make-over.

Pros: Good surfer vibes, chilling in the hammock with a coconut and observing the surfers out there. Amazing sunsets and great surfing teachers. Staff is super friendly and you can get in contact with the people from El Salvador. Offer good tours and activities. Food is very good, loved the included breakfast. Location at the beach is amazing. Rooms are good, our family room was very spacious.

Cons: Rooms could be a bit cleaner (bathroom) and the curtains are not dark enough, for one window it was missing. Also the light down the stairs outside the room was missing. In the dark there was the danger of falling especially when you are with kids. Would be an easy fix. All in all you get a great affordable surfing experience with the right vibes and international community.

The perfect place to recharge and relax with a good atmosphere and delicious food.

Pros: Perfect location right on the beach. The room was clean and staff were very friendly. The food at the restaurant is delicious! And their coffee is amazing. The perfect place to relax and recharge.

Cons: No complaints.

Good value stay next to the beach.

Pros: Lovely atmosphere for relaxing and watching the surfers. We really appreciated the pool as the beach is not suitable for swimming. However, It’s a great beach for experienced surfers. We were there during a period of high tides so there was limited beach walking, and the beach isn’t really that long to be able to walk very far anyway. The hotel has a restaurant, and we enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. There are also plenty of other restaurants nearby. We did the Spanish lessons at the Say Zonte Spanish School, which is conveniently located right at the hotel. Good service from all the staff! Good Uber service in this area to get to other locations if you don’t want to take the bus.

Cons: Bath mats and lock boxes in the rooms would be great additions.
