Eco Suites El Zonte

Great location on the beach and nice setting

Pros: Amazing location right on the beach. Having the two pools is a bonus, especially in the hot El Salvadoran sun! Rooms are well decorated but are very small and get very hot - AC is needed! Good breakfast included in the room rate. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Cons: Prices at the bar seem quite high and some sort of compulsory tax/service charge seems to be added to bills

Pros: The proximity to the beach is amazing. The vibe of the place from the little houses, pools, decoration feels really good. Amazing breakfast. El Zonte is a quiet place perfect for relax and surf.

Amazing place, but rooms need renovation

Pros: Staff was amazing. Breakfast 3 choices. Infinite pool was a big +. Location, a must.

Beachfront infinity pool vibes, minus the Insta-influences (during my visit)

Pros: Fantastic beachside location. Incredible pool views, which never seemed to get crowded. Sunset views are amazing. Never felt too busy anywhere on the grounds, even in the beachfront viewing communal areas there were always plenty of hammocks / chairs. Only place I had warm water in a week in El Salvador. Personal hammock next to my room was nice. The rate included breakfast apparently, though sadly I never tried as I checked out very early on my second morning and wanted to visit some local businesses on my first morning.

Cons: The containers in my opinion, would have been nicer if painted various shades of very pale pastel colours instead of the fake, plastic leaves that cover them all. There was a general taste of rust in the shower / sink water. Some mold in the bathroom. Beds super firm, uncomfortably so initially. Lamp in room 8 did not work, meaning I had to get out of bed and turn the light out right next to the front door.

Amazing stay with just one big downside

Pros: Suites were very cute and cozy. Pools were nice, especially the one directly in front of the beach. Staff was always super friendly. Also the restaurant had good food. The best thing was obviously being right in front of the beach.

Cons: The bath was the only bad thing. Not sure if all are the same, but the one in my suite was dirty around the shower (shower head and the cabin itself). Unfortunately, the worst thing was the sink. It stank like sewage every time you opened it and sometimes the water was yellow. I had to buy a bottle of water to brush my teeth.

Great stay

Pros: Brand new, very clean. Great location. Restaurant has excellent food, breakfast was 10/10

Pros: Staff was amazing. Service was on par with five star hotels.

Cons: Rooms were a bit crammed like shipping containers

Friendly staff and great location

Pros: The staff at the hotel are very friendly and the location right in front of the beach

Cons: There was no shower head in the room and the equipment in the bedroom was a bit basic (i.e no chair inside the room, no tv, and no bath mat and very limited space for clothes)

Place is brand new. Only open a week, Have kinks to workout. Overall a nice stay.

Pros: Staff was great! Outdoor grounds, lounging areas, pool, breakfast location were all very nice.

Cons: Wasn't aware the suites were containers. We aren't container people. Weren't any reviews indicating nor on the booking description. We gave it a shot. They are nice, but just not our thing.

Amazing place

Pros: Amazing place day and night the property transforms itself! Relaxing, peaceful, good ambience. And the personal is caring and friendly.
