Enjoyed the small private feel of the hotel, restaurant was an extra , excellent location

Pros: Breakfast staff and quality was excellent, decor funky and kitsch , rooms comfortable , Melissa on reception very friendly

Cons: Be careful the rooms on the ground floor have no view or are internal, safe was not working

Pros: This is my second time staying at Kaleo and is easily one of my go-tos in San Salvador. Staff is always friendly and the place is very clean. The location is great, and the included breakfast is an added bonus

Pleasant quiet boutique hotel with great breakfasts and atmosphere.

Pros: The breakfast was great, lots of choices, a nice juice, fruits, good coffee and choice of a main breakfast. The location was very good for our needs, lots of restaurants not far away. We had the junior suite and found it very comfortable and convenient. The breakfast bar area also has quite a nice decor.

Cons: Not much to say here.

I would stay again!

Pros: The location of this hotel is excellent. It has a cozy entrance, and very clean. The room was exactly as shown in the hotel pictures. I can tell the rooms overall are small, but are well kept and smell nice. I did enjoy the junior suite for the amount of days I stayed. The washroom was a decent size with enough counterspace for my creams and the shower worked well (water pressure and hot/cold water was great). The staff was very nice, and I used their laundry service which was pretty fair in price (did my bit of laundry). My partner stayed in bed during breakfast, so it was brought to his room, which was a nice touch. The cleaning during my stay was also done well.

Cons: I only had breakfast once at the hotel (spent most of my mornings resting), but I found it a little bit on the salty side. It may not be an issue for some, but I just prefer less salt. I also understand that the windows are there to introduce more light into the room, but since they face the main walkway and the curtains stay closed, it feels like sound is a lot more transmissible. A clothes iron would have been a nice added touch. Next time I come, I'll bring a mini powerbar since the outlets are limited.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful but if you don’t speak Spanish slightly challenging

Cons: Pillows and the room was quite small but really not a huge issue

Great Location, Great Staff, Great Room!

Pros: Great location, great room, friendly staff. Only gave 9/10 because they were still working on the property so one morning we had no water, another day we could not sit in the indoor area of the cafe, and an odd parking situation but nothing truly bothersome. We had a very comfortable stay and were able to walk to some really amazing food spots near by! If you decide to do laundry I would not give any whites/lights. One of our shirts went from white to grey, but they were very generous and apologetic.

Cons: one morning we had no water, another day we could sit in the indoor area of the cafe, but nothing truly bothersome. If you're sensitive to noise you might be woken up by the national anthem that plays from the white house nearby

Pros: Very friendly staff. Great location. Very good breakfast. Cheap and fast laundry services.

Cons: Junior suite room has window facing main hallway so it can get noisy if there are loud guests.

Friendly staff, great location!

Pros: Great place; walking distance from the 'Zona Rosa', yet very quiet (I slept like a baby) and safe neighborhood; super friendly and easy to communicate with staff, they arranged a pick up from the airport for me (and waited for me because my flight was delayed). I'd stay here again.
