Casa Serena B&B

Pros: Everything was good, staff were lovely did everything to make my stay enjoyable. They offer free drinking water along with teas and coffee. My room was nice and clean, with hot shower.

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was that the door to the balcony isn’t sealed properly allowing noise to enter and it’s quite a busy street so light sleeping will have a problem.

Pros: Good location, quiet, nice breakfast downstairs, nice balconies

Pros: Everything was clean and well equipped. Wifi worked well and the decor was lovely. Shower with warm water was nice too. Very comfy bed, free coffee and drinking water in lobby. Couldn't have asked for any more.

Cons: Not a negative but a head's up, there was no kitchen but we knew that and no problem for us

Good starting point in El Salvador

Pros: Good location, clean and easy access. There is coffee and water you can grab at the reception area. Good neighborhood with plenty of food options and good transport access. Room was a good size, we stayed in the green room.

Cons: Nothing really. Just.a comment that staff is not really visible, feels very much like a airbnb place.

Comfortable and calm

Pros: The location was great. They had great coffee and the amenities were comfortable. They were really friendly and helped us a lot

Pros: Comfortable bed and great facilities. Fernando (staff) was very helpful and easy to contact. Advertised as a b&b which it isn't as no breakfast is provided, but there is tea, coffee and cold water available for guests and the use of cooking facilities.

Cons: Pretty noisy during the night, so was woken up a few times, however this isn't the fault of the accom but just a heads up. We stayed here as it wasn't too far from San Salvador airport, but cheaper than staying closer. However, there wasn't much to do within walking distance but we managed to use Uber to get around.

Great value, great area, great accommodation.

Pros: Perfectly located in a safe area of santa tecla. Accessible to bars, coffee, street food, fast food, and supermarkets. Staff were so friendly and attentive - with all the local knowledge. Comfy beds, great aircon, and a nice balcony. Free filtered water which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend this place for solo travellers or couples who want an affordable, clean and peaceful experience that is more authentic than San Benito area.

Cons: There is no stove in the communal kitchen, just to make future guests aware. One other thing is perhaps to have coffee from el salvador available rather than generic - but being really picky on this one.

Very good place to stay/Casa Serena

Pros: It's very clean, the room is nicely decorated and welcoming. Fernando is super friendly and answers all questions you may have. Location was perfect for me. Street noise is normal for a central location. Very easy access, perfect description. Would love to come back, but maybe choose one of the other rooms (with balcony).

Cons: The room is big enough, but has only a small window to a inner patio, same in the bathroom, so ventilation is not so good and can get quite warm (no air-conditioning, as pointed out in the description).

Pros: We stayed in room Verde. Nice little terrace. Good Aircon. Good shower. Comfy bed. Good for a one.night stay. Parking. Staff at check in mega helpful and full of recommendations.

Pros: The location, facilities, staff (Isabel) and the owner Fernando is very welcoming and helpful to us.
